College students across America are gearing up for week-long spring break vacations, and while many will head to the beach, more adventurous students are looking to discover more of the world by volunteering abroad.
Studying abroad is common but according to Education Today, “volunteering abroad takes that cultural experience to a completely different level.”
Students who use their spring break to volunteer abroad can use their time off to improve the lives of others, while discovering the sights, smells and sounds of unfamiliar and exotic overseas communities.
“Instead of the typical spring break souvenirs, you will come home with unforgettable life-changing experiences and memories that last a lifetime.”
